Not to toot my own horn but I’m really proud of myself for doing what I did today. Standing up to something bigger than myself for the company I feel very honored to work for. I’m one of those people that’s like a bulldog, when I find out you’re hurting something I care about, I get riled up. And my boss’s reaction wasn’t what I expected. She just kept looking at me and grinning like I’d just told her I was giving her a million dollars. And in some ways, not directly, but business-wise, I may have.
I still feel quite honored to have the position I do at my company and to even work for a company so well respected. Hopefully, this will be a good thing for them.
