Addiction
I’m outraged at the audacity of people to say Amy Winehouse deserved to die. You clearly know nothing of addiction. You have never seen your mother die from addiction. You have never seen your best friend struggle with addiction. You have never struggled with addiction.
I lost my mom in 2002 to addiction. Did she deserve to die? No. Did Amy? No. Addiction is an illness that some people never recover from.
I have pity for you if you cannot feel empathy for a life lost. Whether it be for the tragedy in Norway, Amy Winehouse or your next door neighbor…no one deserves to die the way they have.
Shame on you.
